Your work day in Finance and Administration
In this department you'll find the reception, Human Resources and finance. The department generally has a large contact surface, both internally and externally. Some of the employees in Finance & Administration are the first you meet if you visit our HQ in Aalborg. From the reception we make sure to welcome you and get you to one of our talented colleagues. One of the most important tasks for Human Resources is to ensure a good dialogue with future and existing employees. The department also makes sure that everything related to finance is completely under control. For instance invoicing for customers, payment of suppliers, budgets, salary payment and much much more.

In this department you'll find Project Managers, who are responsible for the implementation of new deliveries - in most cases, they consist in establishing new IT infrastructures and platforms. In addition, you'll find our Service Delivery Managers, whose main task is to ensure that Netic meets the obligations of the contracts during the operating period. Both Project- and Service Delivery Managers have a large contact surface, as well internally as externally, as they work with customers, subcontractors, partners and the entire organization in Netic.

In Tools and Technologies, we manage the tools that are crucial for our daily operations and don't naturally fit into any of our other teams. This includes key areas such as our ITSM suite, monitoring, authorisation mechanisms, and a whole range of smaller but necessary and important systems. The main tasks in Tools and Technologies are to ensure that all systems are running, everything is up-to-date, and that we help our colleagues use our systems. Tools and Technologies also plays an important role in ensuring that everything in our production environments is correctly registered, so that the operation of all units complies with what has been agreed upon with the customer. We also ensure consistency between internal systems, both through automation and control. The team is characterised by high professionalism, as well as the desire and ability to deliver the right solutions, both internally and to customers.

This department is comprised of our CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) who, along with the rest of the team, has overall responsibility for the information security in Netic. We answer questions from colleagues and customers, conduct internal audits and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with the requirements in our statements (ISAE 3402 type-II and ISAE 3000) as well as ISO standards according to our 27001:2022 certification. In the CISO Office, we work closely with both Legal and Sales, for example on contracts, customer requests, and upcoming requirements such as NIS 2 and DORA. In addition, we develop policies, contingency plans, and respond to customer enquiries. We also hold security meetings with customers and provide sparring with management regarding information security.

In this job area you will find Netic's Platform Development-team. The team is responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of Netic's Contain platform, as well as related services and platforms. The department works closely with our Operations and Cloud Native teams, which are responsible for the daily operations and implementation of new customers.

Our highly experienced database specialists in the Database team are responsible for our customers' databases. These databases often contain critical operational data, making access to this data essential for our customers. The Database team's main tasks are primarily installation, configuration, and monitoring of the databases, as well as keeping them operational and updated. In close collaboration with Server and Storage, Network and Backup, among others, we also help customers with capacity planning and backup strategies, as well as performance analysis and optimisation of databases and database applications. The work day in the Database team is characterized by high professionalism, responsibility, and care, as the responsibility for keeping customer data secure is connected to a high degree of trust between the customer and us.

In this job area you'll find sales, communication and marketing under the leadership of our CCO. Sales is responsible for having the dialogue with both existing and new customers, while communication and marketing handles internal communication tasks as well as coordination and execution of all marketing activities and events. The department works closely with most other departments in the house - especially Legal in relation to contracts and Projects and Delivery in relation to deliveries.

The Legal department is responsible for Netic's contracts with customers and suppliers. The main task in the department is to ensure that contracts are concluded in such a way, that the cooperation between Netic and the customers has the best conditions for success. We therefore have contact with many people during the day, both internally and externally. In addition, we are responsible for employment contracts and compliance according to the general European data protection regulations (GDPR), including the DPO role.

Our Facility team, under the leadership of our COO, is responsible for Netic's data centers. Their work in the data centers includes, among other things, the operation and maintenance of cooling capacity, UPS, emergency generators, infrastructure, physical security, and related support systems. Facility works closely with our Operations team and is responsible for all dialogue and coordination with external suppliers who carry out work on buildings and support systems. In addition to the data centers, Facility also handles general physical security, building maintenance, and inventory at our HQ in Aalborg.

Netic's CTO Office is home to our team of experienced architects. They ensure the overall architecture of the IT infrastructure, which is the foundation for Netic to deliver valuable solutions to our customers. The CTO Office collaborates with our technical teams to guarantee consistency in the architecture across all technical areas. In addition, the team collaborates with sales to ensure that Netic, both now and in the future, can deliver the solutions demanded by our customers. This means that the team in its daily work both maintains the current architecture and develops a robust architecture that supports customers' future needs.
